This weekend is the 24th Annual Restoration Pow Wow in Chiloquinn, OR. The Klamath Tribes (Klamath, Modoc and Yahoosklin) were restored to tribal status 24 years ago this week after having their tribal status taken away in the 60's. The weather was dreadful, but the spirits were high as everyone danced for their Creator. the Veteran's Honor Guard is made up from members from several tribes and all branches of the services.
