From the 22nd Annual AIA Sand Castle Competition, Apffel Park (East Beach), Galveston, Texas 2008.05.31

Galveston is a lonely, but fun on the weekends kinda place. The wait to get into East beach around 2pm on a Saturday is a nightmare. East beach is definitely happening with thousands of people and many different events happening every week. There was a Sand Sculpting competition happening over the last weekend and this was one of the entries. I liked it though it would have been cooler if they had the mouth open and a leg caught in it.
