Steel Gray - Aon Building, Chicago, Black and White

Chicago view map

Aon Center and the Prudential Building

The Aon center was originally the world's tallest marble-clad structure. The original Carrara
marble slabs turned out too thin and the building had to be recladded. The marble was replaced by
thicker slabs of North Carolina speckled granite. The building is 345m and 82 floors tall.

Two Prudential Plaza in 293m and 64 floors high and reminds me a lot of the Chrysler building.

It's so awesome how because of the invention of steel we can build towers this tall. I'm glad that they are able to hold up under all of that weight. I'm no engineer, but I could imagine that the amount of force per square inch would be enormous.http://www.superiorbuildings.ca/solutions.html
