Built by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (architect: Bruce Graham, engineer: Fazlur Rahman Khan), the
same people that built the Hancock Tower. It is 443m tall and the tallest building in Chicago. It
is located at 233 South Wacker Drive and within it are 103 elevators. The building is made of 9
tubes each a skycraper in its own right. Often in debate over being the tallest building in the
world, taller than the Petronas (excluding the tower), it is now lower than the 508m Taipei 101
Tower in China.
