Karthik - You are right - Speakers to the World!!! This is the tower on which the TV transmitter was there before it was moved to the present location at Munireddy Palaya. This was in early 80s, around the time of Asiad, when Bangaloreans were fed with alternating Marathi and Tamil programs from Bombay and Madras.
