I am not sure if you named it as pagoda purposely, but this is the band stand, where the Police Band, the Army Band, the Air Force Bands used to play over the week ends way back in the 70s and 80s.
You can find such similar Band Stands in most of the Parks in Bangalore - typical of what you would find in Regent's Park or Hyde Park in London.
