Samaritans Passover Sacrifice זבח הפסח של השומרונים

Samaritans are the smallest, most ancient sect in the world. Their religion is based on the 5 books of the Torah only and is descended from the ancient Israelite tribes of Menashe and Efraim. The community numbers today only around 730 people, half at Mount Grizim in the West Bank and the others in Holon near Tel Aviv in Israel.
Each year in spring, they all gather on Mt. Gerizim, to celebrate the Passover Sacrifice, in which they slaughter around 50 sheeps, skewer then baking them in a special ground oven (actually a covered hole), then eat them entirily during the night.
I've visited this amazing event on April 30, 2007 and here are selected results. Vote if you like.
