I've spend 2 weeks in the city of Haridwar, at the foothills of the Himallaya's, on the holy ganges river, during the 2010 Kumbh Mela festival, the largest human gathering on earth. This sensual event won't leave the spectator indifferent, as the faith of people attending it is total & sincere. I was stunned by a massive attack on all of my senses, from both spiritual and material aspects. As a photographer I was aiming to see inside my subjects, looking for the source of their faith, trying to capture unique gestures & ceremonies representing their believes.
