Sivan definately feels much better these days. It's now 1.5 months after bone marrow transplantation, after which she suffered from many severe complications. It's less than a week since she was released from intensive care unit, in which she stayed for almost 1 month, most of it incubated and anesthetized.
Sivan is weak and finds it hard to hold her head or move her legs (she probably lost all of her muscles lying in intensive care), but she started moving her hands quite well today.
Her mood is changing a lot due to steroids, but she is laughing and playing and talking now and started eating a bit.
We've got a long way to go yet with her GVHD complication. She was treated yesterday again with Mesenchymal stem cells and today developped some CMV which is also risky.
We hope she'll keep improving and will be able to come back home soon.
