During the night at the pediatrics intensive care unit (almost a month there already), Sivan was playing with the nurse and cried that she wants home. She has been sending Einat with a lot of food & beverage demands (she isn't realy eating yet...) and started pronouncing words. The day before she only said Mom (Ima) & Dad (Aba).
She still suffers pain, her lungs are not clean yet but she manages breathing with environmental oxygen. There is some minor improvement in her examinations, but they consider another portion of Mesenchymal stem cells to fight her bowel GVHD.
Her current recovery from the liver VOD disease is considered a medical miracle.
Her current condition is serious but stable and they have decided to move her back to her room in the Bone Marrow Transplantation unit.
We still have a long way to go...
