November 2001 Leonid Meteor Shower. Pictures taken with a late 70's early 80's Canon AE-1 SLR with a Kiron lens, mounted on a tripod, between 4-6 am, and then scanned. Exposures were in the 1-5 minute range. Keep in mind that all those short lines are stars that appear as streaks when taking a long exposure, due to movement of the earth, relative to the stars. Sometimes this is referred to as 'star trails'. The significantly longer trails are the meteors
