The lack of winter rains and brutal winter temperatures in February caused many changes in this year's display. Grasses continue to choke out bluebonnets and other flowers along roadways and in pastures. Bluebonnets were much shorter this year due to the cold. Still, after taking a hiatus in 2020 we had to hit the road to hunt for the perfect wildflower shot.
