In 2011-12 85 XPA members booked tickets for tours of the Whitechapel Bell Foundry in the East End of London. The Guinness Book of Records lists the Whitechapel Bell Foundry as Britain's oldest manufacturing company, having been established in 1570 (during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I) and being in continuous business since that date. It is a great tour benefitting from a very good guide - the owner Alan Hughes.
