208 images in this album. Two volumes total or close to 500 images in all.
All photos were also taken in RAW. At some later date selected images processed from RAW will appear.
Held at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA each September this is arguably the largest assemblage of Woodie wagons in the world. Unofficial count this year was 262 cars. I am sure this is up from last year. This is the 28th year of this grandaddy of all woodies shows. This album contains not only woodies but also entetainment, especially from the Duotones and a Bluegrass group that shows up every year. Also a few interesting dogs. The 2 guys you see with guitars are an awesome old school surf band duo, the Duotones. Paul Johnson is from the original Safaris and Gil Orr is from the Chantays.

This is a labor of love and such shows as this cost me quite a bit out of pocket for travel, admission fees and of course equipment expenses. Please consider a small donation so that I may continue to share these awesome old cars with you. You may make a secured donation by clicking here:
I love woodies, especially stock or period modified. I hit the "mother load" when I found your photo galleries! I will enjoy them over and again! Thanks for the great work.

Hi, I have a photo I took on the highway of a woodie, only from the rear but I believe it is probably identifiable by someone in the know. Is it possible I can send you the photo and have it ID. I have looked thru your photos and not found anything like it while enjoying immensely what I have seen. I remember woodies as I am 64 and they were around more when I was a young person. My husband and I both feel very nostalgic seeing the old cars. It's a fun site to visit.
