As always a very good time was had by all. This year as the past two years the SoCal edition of the Renaissance Pleasure Faire was held at Santa Fe Dam recreational park in Irwindale, CA.
Took about 850 photos of which I will share around 600 shots with you. This fisecond album is somewhat less than 200 photos. 1 more album will follow. Bookmark and come back later. Come with me as I share my images as I saw them this day. Emphasis was given to Full contact jousting, Belly Dancing, other select entertainers and of course the buxom Wenches :-) .
All photos drastically downsized and not suitable for printing .Printing of these photos prohibited but you are welcome to share these online versions with your friends as long as you give me credit and a link back to this album. All photos Copyright 2007 all rights reserved.
All photos were shot using a Nikon D80 DSLR and Nikkor 18mm - 200 mm VR lens as well as an SB600 Speedlight. All photos shot in both RAW and JGG. The photos you see here are from the JPG files and are loosely batch processed in Photoshop. Later, selected shots will be placed in a separate album. These will all be properly cropped and corrected very accurately for your viewing pleasure.
I want to thank all performers and attendees who coorerted in allowing me these photos. Members and friends of the Renaissance Pleasure Faire SoCal edition please share this link with your friends.
This is a labor of love and such shows as this cost me quite a bit out of pocket for travel, admission fees and of course equipment expenses. Please consider a small donation so that I may continue to bring you these photos. You may make a secured donation by clicking here:
Cool page. I wish the women had higher necklines on their dresses sometimes when I go over there though;). I was in one fairly recently...2007, North Carolina. It was somewhere close to Charlotte. It was really cool. Some guy took a picture of me there, just some random guy that was there, and I was scrolling through this one because I wanna see what I looked like. And, you know that one lancing knight with the green and silver stuff and the blond hair? He was there when I was. I was rooting for him...and his legendary die-hard reputation. He put up a fight.
