The Sumatran tiger is the smallest of all still existing tiger subspecies.
It is also one of the rarest. Only between 400 and 500 are still in existence.
This mother however has produced at least 5 more. Having bore twins (a rarity in itself) and now triplets (very rare)

Ken a lovely gallery, we have a breeding pair, (well we hope so)here in the Auckland Zoo so hopefully will be able to add to the numbers in the future.
