1960 Thunderbird Hardtop. 1960 was the last "facelift" of the initial four seater Bird first introduced as a '58 model. Although many of us lamented Ford's decision to end the the 1955-56-57 T-Bird Roadster, sales really took off with the introduction of the "Square Bird" with the additional rear seating. Too bad that the exact opposite happened when Ford introduced the Edsel in the same 1958 model year, and 1960 was the same modelyear as the T-Bird in Ken's photo that production ended shortly after the introduction of the 1960 model in the Fall of 1959.
