In 1955 at age 18 I had a short drive in a 55 Buick Century. My friend worked for a Buick dealer in Chicago and he let me drive the brand new Buick in a short drag race against my mothers Olds 88 with a 3 speed manual trans. The Olds had a two barrel carb. And was rated at185 horsepower, the Buick was 236 horsepower.
I put in in low and pedal to the metal. Up to about 35 or 40 the Century was way ahead.
I still remember this so many years later.
I love your shot of the blue and white Buick Century.
Great car. Long live Buick, and best regards.

Do you have a pic of a Buick, around 1963 or younger that had two toned Orange and white and red upholstery inside? Grandmother took me to Kindergarden in 1963. Thank you.

In my opinion, this one the best looking body style ever! It looked great in the optional three color scheme also.
