It sure looks like a Special to me. Post 2 doors were Specials and Centuries only. All came as 4 doors, Hardtops or Convertibles. Riviera was the name given to the Roadmaster and Super Convertibles and Hardtops.

This is a custom 1954 Super. This was the year that Buick had the two different rear wheel wells.
A Riviera which was sportier had the rounded version where as this was the older style.
