Just added some from the Flamingo in Las Vegas.

I do not own a serious birding lens (yet) so these are the best I can do so far. Many of these had to be cropped so as to somewhat fill the frame.

Added 8 new shots from Bolsa Chica. A Surf Scoter, and some Northern Pintail shots.

Added a group of photos taken at Bolsa Chica. Mostly California Brown Pelicans.

This is just the beginning of a very large gallery of Shore birds I will be taking over the next few months. Venues: Bolsa Chica Nature preserve (Huntington Beach). Newport Back Bay Nature preserve (Newport).

my husband was walking along the river in old stratford and he saw two black large birds like a heron to look at. we have looked on all your photos and the only one resembling them were the skimmers. would that be possible in our region. I would like to hear from you if possible.

Digital film Ron :-) . My main card these days is an 8 GB HDHC card. I also have Two 2 4 GB SD cards and Three 2 GB SD cards. I shoot mostly in RAW only now but occasionally shoot in both RAW and JPG simultaneously. Ken
