Held at La Palma Park, Anaheim. Note: All Mercury woodies are rare but at this show we had not one but two of the rarest Mercury woodies the 1942! It is estimated there are less than 10 in existance today with perhaps only 3 restored. One of the 1942 Merc's was restored and is owned by Nick Alexander (now retired local BMW dealer). The other was restored for another gentleman by Nick. The other rarity is a 1946 Mercury with right hand drive. Only 4 were made for export and this is likely the only one remaining today. The car was made in the US and exported. The car spent most of it's life in So. Africa.
