I followed your instruction, then I posted it here. Later, when I got your version, I compared my cropping with yours and I found your removing of the adjacent building is a remarkable idea! I love your idea and from this picture I learned a lot. Thanks Phil!
Done! Thank you very much Phil, for the suggestions. Today I carried my camera around 42 Street and shot some pictures...It was 30F and the wind was so freezing. Glad I took this one though.
You keep getting stronger and stronger regarding incongruity, Xin. All this picture needs is a crop and clone to become a classic. Crop it from the left until you have the Calvin Klein ad going across the bottom. And clone out the light at upper right What do you have now? A sexually oriented advertisement topped by a glittering phallic symbol. Wham. You did it.
