Prizren (Призрен)

Located on the slopes of the Sar Mountains in southwestern Kosovo, Prizren was once the capital of medieval Serbia. Conquered by the Ottomans in 1545 and developed into an important center of Muslim culture, it remains Kosovo's most Oriental city in character.
