I was using the little lens cap wide angle Olympus lens. So, I am much closer to the subjects here than you might imagine. That's why the flash fills the image in so well. I sort of had to use it anyways, as the light in Ireland is rather soft when it's over cast here, and the lens is a fixed aperture of f8.
