It's how this monitor works. It's meant for the wrist.
I have to take my BP often now after I had a cardiac arrest last Christmas.
Before the meds and stents, I was closer to 190/130.

I wouldn't mind the 118, reading looks good. Not usual to measure at the wrist is it?
