The aircraft in front is a de Havilland DHC-4 Caribou,
specifically the C-7, the US military version.
Popular in the 1960's, the Caribou is a light, tactical
transport designed for operation in the most primitive
of conditions. It can take off and land on unprepared
surfaces of less than 1,000 feet in length.
