Old Barn on Chapel Road near Gassaway, Baxton County

I took my granddaughter home this afternoon and came back through the countryside. I spotted this barn right along the road. I like the slanted boarding on it.

I've seen the herringbone done on corn cribs before, but never on a large barn. Looks really neat, and a rare find.

That is a great barn. You captured it well. The green lawn contrasts with the old wood to give the scene a dream-like feel.
