Another beautiful day, with sunny skies and highs in the upper 70's. I visited Sandstone Falls today, and although the water is really low (we need rain badly), there were still several beautiful cascades. They were paving the little road down to the falls, and while I waited, I got the rare opportunity of watching a bald eagle fishing right about the falls. He made three failed attempts to catch fish in the river near the head of the falls, then sat on a dead tree branch for some time. I was too far away to get a shot of him, but was thrilled at the opportunity to watch him.
