Hi Serena, thanks for stopping by and looking. I don't know much about the history of Hell's Gate Bridge in New York City. All I know is it's an old bridge that only carries railroad trains from Queens/Long Island across the East River to Manhattan/Westchester. There is no automobile or pedestrian traffic on this bridge. It is very close to, and runs parallel to the Triboro Bridge which does carry automobile and pedestrian traffic.

Thanks for looking Vera! Yes, Central Park is wonderful for monochromes in the winter. Spring, summer and fall are all about color, but winter is cold, drab and somewhat monochromatic to begin with, so black and whites (and sepias) work well.

New York City is such an ideal place for monochromes! I especially like the few shots in snowy Central Park. Great work. :-) Vera.
