Ireland - Clonmacnois-Newgrange-Kells-Hill of Tara, Ireland

On our way to Trim we stopped by The Monastery at Clonmacnois, Co Offally, founded in the 6th century by St Ciaran	High Cross & upper Round Tower at Clonmacnois,
River Shannon near Clonmacnois,		Clonmacnois has two round towers
Archway at Clonmacnois,
Marjorie with Castle ruins behind	statues near visitors center at Clonmacnois,	another Clonmacnois visitor
	Clonony Castle ruins on the road to Trim	Newgrange from across the valley
Megalithic Passage Tomb at Newgrange was built about 3200 BC	On the winter solstice sunrise a shaft of sunlight shines through the roof box over the entrance and illuminates the inner floor
		Unfinished Cross & Round Tower at Kells, Co.Meath
The Cross of St Patrick and St Columba	The West Cross, or Ruined Cross, at Kells	it has some beautifully inscribed decorative panels on it's north and south sides
