The Foundations of Canada

During a recent trip to Canada I came across a monument to the foundartions of the nation. The Inuit, the buffalo, the deer/elk/reindeer, the eagle, all depicted on a single podium of honor. This picture, taken from he back of the mounment, against the modern-day building gives a contrast of where Canada started and where she is today. The eagle is flying upward, ever upward. Surely Canada's future will be bright if she builds on her heritage and follows the eagle -- onward and upward. (g)

I have been in love with Native American Indians since I was 16.I have a lot of books an artifacts I have collected over the years but yet still to make it over to America too see There land the reason I haven't is when I think of all the things I read an seen it reminds me that how it is today it shouldn't be. The N.A.Indains lost there lives an land for it too become what America is so that stops me but I have always wanted to go work on a reservation to help them rebuild. I have meet many people who I have brought the artifacts off and they have showed me there photo's of the work they have achieved on the plantations. This monument is great I proud that Canada has done that as I have also been in love with that country as that;s were sitting bull took his clan.
