A Gallery Showing the Highlights of Day 1 of the Safari

We arrived in early afternoon and just had time for a quick tour of the compound before our first journey into the bush veld was to start. The safari left at 4:00 PM and we would be in the bush until between 8:00 and 9:00. We had to be back in the compound no later than 10:00 as that is about the time the nocturnal hunters start looking for dinner.
