Perth felt very 'British'..a step change in the weather (it rained!) and very green with a lot of familiar accents. Freemantle, or 'Freo', a suburb where we stayed, provides a host of cool coffee shops, bars, markets and cool buildings - and just a general groovy buzz to it. Ruth got to sample to Perth Show, and we both got to meet up with Janine, originally from our Sth America travels..(but increasingly managing to bump into us for a wine all over the world!)
