My oh My - Queenstown is a place and a half to celebrate the New Year!! Ruth and I welcomed in 2006 with Nicola (of Sth America trip fame) and the entire hostel full of her buddies - with a few kegs on the sunny deck, a bbq, the biggest card game ever and many random events...followed by fireworks over the lake at midnight then a few hours bopping in the infamous Winnies (with & without the roof), then Bardeux and finally last beer as the sun rose from the deck. Nice one.
