Kalbarri - Big River Ranch

On the way back down the West Coast I stopped at Kalbarri to work at Big River Ranch for a while. Fulfilling an ambition of mine...to work on a Horse Ranch...Yehah! Working with Steve & Skye and the gang. It's not as glamourous as Macleod's Daughters might have you believe...but so much FUN..the guys at the ranch are great, the horses lovely, and the scenery amazing. What a wicked time!!

Sango had a long term injury. Her foot was rotting from the inside out, and motherbear was 35 y/o. One eye was missing and was continuing to drop condition. The only humane thing to do was euthanise her before another 45degree summer sucked the last of her life.
