It doesn't happen often, but usually once a year a black bear makes it's way through my community. Although this was my 3'rd encounter, it was the first with my camera at hand.
I had the pleasure of watching him two days in a row....once in the woods and the second day he raided my neighbors bird feeder and had some fun with a stuffed deer that her dogs used as a chew toy.
