Recently visited Pottsville, PA, for the first time. I had never even heard of it before. It's a small old mining town that is overflowing with outstanding architecture and character. If you're a beer drinker (which I am not), Pottsville is the home of the Yuengling Brewery, which has been in operation continuously since 1831. There is a fabulous little downtown restaurant called WHEEL whose house specialty is grilled cheese sandwiches made any way you choose. They also have the friendliest staff on the planet. If you ever find yourself in Pottsville, don't miss WHEEL. It was the perfect meeting place for three old friends from Arizona. Lastly, the photos of the Pottsville cemetery speak for themselves. Enjoy your visual visit to this charming little town.
