This perfect evergreen began life growing up between a crack in my front sidewalk. Every year for five years, I pulled it up and discarded it. The sixth year, I decided to plant it in my garden. One year and 12 inches later, I potted it. After two years in the pot, it's now six feet tall and shaped perfectly. There's now a second evergreen tree growing in my garden about 12 inches away from where this one grew between the cracks. In the spring, the baby tree will be potted and placed in close proximity to the first tree. Gotta love nature!
