Albatross Chicks offer a compelling photographic target as they have a look of comical helpless arrogance. They are completely dependent on their parents and it takes two to feed them. The death of one parent kills the baby as a consequence. Inadvertant killing of Albatross parents attempting to feed on fisherman's bait resulting in their being hooked constitutes a major threat to their survival.
