White Ibis
The Ibis' nesting area has extended into SE Oklahoma. A rookery of approximately 100 pairs is expected to develop there this spring. I caught a lot of them in the air. They were just beginning to gather at Red Slough and had just begun to drift in during the previous week or two.

Male Bobolinks Front and Rear
It was difficult to get close to these beautiful birds lined up on Bobolink Lane on the Red Slough. I finally got two males in the same image, and having their back to each other, they gave me an interesting comparison of the front and the back of the same species.

Ozark Fog Columns
Observing fog rise up in relatively narrow columns from the forested hillsides was a new experience for me. Commonly, fog rising from a watery area is seen on lakes, rivers and ponds, but seeing this occur from the middle of a wooded hillside struck me as odd.

Glass Chapel
Located on the west edge of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This beautiful little church ing the woods (will probably hold 200 people) gives you a sense of peace and serenity. I'd like to see all lit up on Christmas Eve some time. This was hand-held at 1/10th of a second. I got lucky to get this one this sharp.
