This is a quick 45 minute shot (15-15-15 RGB) of open cluster M50 in Monoceros.
This colorful cluster was discrovered by Charles Messier in 1772, and possibly before 1711 by Cassini, according to notes left by his son in the 1740 book "Elements of Astronomy". The cluster contains about 200 stars and is estimated to be 3,200 light years distant.
