One side benefit of getting up early enough to take sunrise pictures 40 minutes away from home is that we were the first ones to get to Rathbun's for breakfast. We thought that we'd have to wait, because it was after 7:30. But Mr. Rathbun said that nobody gets up anymore--they all sleep in. Sure enough, by the time we were done with breakfast and finished puttering around outside taking pics (above), the parking lot was full. Late birds have to wait for breakfast.
