We arrived this world famous photography location at about 5:15 am, one and a half hours before sunrise. After the short hike by flashlight to the arch, we looked up and noticed that the sky was so clear, you could see the Milky Way! It was 45 minutes before another photographer showed up, though by the time sunrise came around, there were probably 20 other photographers around. We were all treated to a majestic scene as the sun rose above the distant mountains causing the belly of the arch to glow orange.
