As the birthplace of safari travel Kenya is probably the most popular of safari destinations and for good reason as an extremely diverse country, straddling numerous climate zones it contains a vast range of different landscapes and cultures and of course sensational game viewing.

As millions of Wildebeests, Zebras and other animals migrate in mega-herds north across the endless plains of Tanzania’s Serengeti they ultimately hit the Mara River the natural geographic border with Kenya. It is here in the Maasai Mara National Reserve you find Maasai Warriors wandering the wildlife rich grasslands and diverse ecosystems that are home to very large populations of Big Cats (Lions, Leopards and Cheetah) which are documented in the TV series “Big Cat Diary” and David Attenborough’s wildlife films.
