Each Fantasy Fest a number of people run for the prestigious titles of Fantasy Fest King & Queen. The race for King & Queen is all about fund raising for AH Monroe (aka Aids Help). From September till late October each of the participants hold a variety of fund raising events all aimed at raising the most money. On the Friday before Fantasy Fest week the Royal Coronation Ball is held, night of food, drink and entertainment where the Fantasy Fest King & Queen are crowned. Last year's campaign raised over $275,000 for AH Monroe.
