Each October Key West hosts huge celebration called FANTASY FEST week. The event lasts 10 days and is a Mardi Gras like event that culminates the last Saturday in October with a parade. During Fantasy Fest the island's population swells from 25000 to over 75000. While this is a Halloween oriented event with lots of costumes it is also not for the shy or prudish as it is clearly an Adult only event.
