Along the Beartooth Highway, Montana

The Beartooth Highway runs from Billings Montana through Red Lodge, and ends in Cooke City, Montana about 104 miles south
Cooke City is located at the NE entrance of Yellowstone Nat'l Park

As we started our drive about 3pm the temperature was in the high 80's F, upon reaching the top of Beartooth, the temperature drop to the low 50's.
When we reached Cooke City, the temp was back in the 80,s.

The summit of Beartooth Highway is 10,947' above sea level.
