Os roazes do Sado - The Bottlenose Dolphins of the Sado Estuary

A group of 26 Bottlenose Dolphins inhabit the Sado estuary (Portugal) year-round. The group sonsists of 5 calves, 4 sub-adults, and 17 adults. This is the only population in an estuary in Portugal, and one of only three known dolphin communities in Europe.

We joined a trip with Vertigem Azul (www.vertigemazul.com) to see them on a beautiful sunny morning in April.
