Fisheries Knowledge Group visit to Hastings

Members of the Dutch Knowledge Group on Gillnet Fisheries for Sole visited their colleagues in Hastings to share knowledge and stories about their fishing experiences and MSC certification. Fishermen from both groups have MSC certification and the majority of vessels from each fleet use gill nets in their Dover sole fisheries. Hasting has Britain’s biggest fleet of beach-launched fishing boats.
