Testing the AP CCDT67 FR.

Images taken with the Astro-Physics CCDT67 focal reducer, acquired Sep 2007. Attached using the AP16T Nosepiece, yielding f/4.8 and F=670mm. All images were 6 minutes at ISO 400. Some were stacked - see individual images notes.

5 Darks were averaged. ImagesPlus digital conversion; Registar aligned; IP combined.

No further post processing (such as NeatImage, sharpening) to facilitate evaluation. The purpose of these images was to evaluate the image scale and framing/composition provided by the reducer. 2.42 arc-sec/pixel; 80.6 x 121.2 arc-minutes FOV. North is up in all cases. Longer exposures or at higher ISO's resulted in some sky fog and vignetting in the far corners.

Update: 14-Jan-2008 - Replacing with the 27TVPH .75x AP compressor.
